Get to it!!!

Fri Nov 13, 2009, 6:06 PM
I just read 'how to make a living as a painter' by - Kenneth Harris -
really great book, very exciting, I love his straight forward and logical approach to life as a painter. So, I'm going to take his advice and paint as much as I can every day, hopefully growing and learning the entire time.

Please take a look at my gallery!

Also, All the originals I still have are available for purchase for reasonable prices, just drop me a note and I'd love to discuss it.

Enjoy,

Nathan

Thanks for the fav!
:iconsessysloversoya:
How much do you want for the clothespin one, " Megalith of the Past Forgotton"?
:iconfroggyd:
the first one I did i've already sold but the second one I did is up in NC. I could probably ship it down here, but it might be expensive. I'd sell it to you for $100 but it might be awhile before I could bring it down

I have cheese tray, death by chance, genetic makeup, phronesis, and war torn here in NC
:iconsessysloversoya:
what would you want for "genetic makeup"?
:iconfroggyd:
well, I just brought it up to NC with me, so i'd have to mail it down but it shouldn't be too expensive it's pretty light. lets see, i'd sell it for $60 plus shipping, unless your willing to wait till I come back down again.

And of course I forgot to press the "watch"... =____=" I'm looking forward to see more from you. : D Such an intriguing gallery!

Some people think that absent-mindedness is a curse - I afraid it's a lifestyle.

thanks for the intrigue, I'm anticipating your future works likewise. please feel free to comment on individual pieces, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
:iconsherega:
I will!

Also the scale of your works interest me. Are they all that large by they size as in your "artist in work" -picture? They really are large if they do. : O

:iconfroggyd:
yeah, most of them are pretty large, I find that my landscapes are much more dynamic if you can stand in front of them and feel like your actually part of the piece, or perhaps, inside of it. I also use a texture in many of my paintings entirely for the purpose of bringing the painting more into the viewers dimension. I'm fortunate to have such a large studio where i can work so freely.
